Except where noted brass is R-P fireformed 30-30 trimmed to 2.025 Groups were shot at 100 yards using sand bags and a 2 1/2 X Redfield scope....except where noted These loads work superb in my guns---yours may work slightly different----adjust accordingly

Keep brass trimmed to 2.030 length max for best results and long case life Fed 210Match & CCI BR-2 primers gave identical results--availability determined use Medium speed burning powders work best for loading..shooting best groups..and consistent loading density

Total length of cartridges: bullets seated to about .050 to .060 short of rifling. Shorter or longer and accuracy tends to suffer.

1. 162-168 gr hollow point bullets are longer and have a slimmer profile that allows them to be seated out farther than soft points for longer cartridge total length. 2. DO NOT use these dimensions when using a tubular magazine fed rifle ! They won't work because they're too long for the magazine 3. Measurements are approximately .050 to .060 short of contacting the rifling for the best accuracy in my particular firearms -- yours may be different -- experiment

4. DO NOT USE LIVE AMMO --- Make up a DUMMY round.

5. Do not seat lead gas check bullet bases with gas check below the case neck exposing the lube to burning powder--it defeats the purpose of the lube and may kill the powderresulting in a "dud" at the wrong time.

6. To get the best seating depth measurement -- smoke the bullet of a DUMMY round with the bullet barely seated in the case -- carefully insert into chamber until contact is made with the rifling -- repeat the steps -- smoke, chamber, measure again and again until you get the result you want -- SAVE the dummy, you will need it later to reset loading dies after changing to different bullets
